SMS & Voice Privacy Policy
How We Handle Your Communications Data
Last Updated: March 22, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how PersonaOne ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you interact with us via:
- SMS/Text Messages - Text conversations with our AI assistant
- Voice Calls - Phone calls to our automated voice system
By using our SMS or voice services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described herein.
Alpha Stage — Data Privacy Notice
Important: PersonaOne is currently in Alpha.
During the alpha stage, please be aware of the following regarding your data and privacy:
- Third-Party AI Processing: PersonaOne uses third-party AI and cloud services to process conversations, generate responses, and transcribe audio. Your data — including message content, voice recordings, and transcripts — is transmitted to these external services for processing.
- Data Is Not Completely Private: Because we rely on public AI APIs, your data may be processed on third-party infrastructure that is not exclusively controlled by PersonaOne. While these providers have their own privacy and security practices, we cannot guarantee the same level of data isolation as a fully self-hosted solution.
- Do Not Submit Highly Sensitive Data: You should avoid submitting protected health information (PHI), financial account credentials, government identification numbers, trade secrets, or other highly regulated or confidential data through PersonaOne during the alpha period.
- Errors and Data Accuracy: AI-generated responses may contain inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect information. Data stored or displayed by the platform may also contain errors during this stage of development.
- Evolving Practices: Our data handling, storage, and processing practices may change as we develop the platform. We will update this policy to reflect material changes.
By signing up and using PersonaOne during the alpha stage, you acknowledge and accept these data privacy limitations.

AI-Powered Communications
Both our SMS and voice services use artificial intelligence to provide automated responses. Please be aware that:
- Responses are generated by AI and may occasionally contain outdated, incomplete, or incorrect information
- AI responses should not be relied upon for critical decisions involving legal, medical, or financial matters
- Your conversations may be reviewed by our team to improve AI accuracy
- When human assistance is needed, your conversation may be escalated to a live representative
- During escalation, representatives can see your conversation history for context
SMS Content Filtering & Channel Redirection
To comply with mobile carrier regulations and ensure reliable message delivery, PersonaOne employs automated content filtering on outbound SMS messages.
How Content Filtering Works
- Outbound SMS messages are automatically scanned for keywords and patterns known to trigger carrier spam filters (e.g., cryptocurrency terms, sensitive financial details, personal identity information)
- When flagged content is detected, the original message is not sent via SMS
- A replacement message is sent notifying you that the full response is available via an alternative channel (email or web chat)
- The original response content is preserved and delivered through the alternative channel when available
No Data Loss: Content filtering does not delete your information. Filtered responses are redirected to alternative channels or stored in your conversation history, accessible via the web chat widget.
What Is Filtered
Content filtering applies only to outbound SMS messages from PersonaOne to you. Your inbound messages are never filtered or blocked. Filtered categories include:
- Cryptocurrency and blockchain terminology
- Financial account numbers and routing information
- Personal credentials (passwords, PINs, security codes)
- Government identification numbers
A2P Messaging & Carrier Compliance
PersonaOne sends Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS messages through registered 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) numbers in compliance with carrier requirements:
- Our messaging campaigns are registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR)
- We comply with CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices
- Messages are sent only in response to user-initiated conversations or user-requested notifications
- We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional messages
- Message logs are maintained as required by carrier and regulatory guidelines
For information about our registered use cases and sample messages, see our Terms of Service.
